WOKING ATHLETIC CLUB

Woking AC - fueling a lifelong love of athletics

Woking Athletic Club is a performance-driven, purpose-led athletics club supporting athletes from juniors through to masters. We exist to help people discover, develop, and sustain a lifelong connection to athletics — whatever their starting point, age, or ambition.

Founded in 1947, we combine decades of competitive heritage with a modern, inclusive approach to coaching and club life. From track and field to road running and cross country, our athletes compete locally, regionally, nationally, and beyond — united by shared values, a strong team spirit, and pride in representing Woking.

Whether you’re stepping onto the track for the first time, returning to the sport, or striving to perform at your best, Woking AC offers expert coaching, a supportive community, and an environment where individuals thrive — together.

Track & Field

Track and field sits at the competitive heart of the club. We are regular top-five finishers in the Southern Athletics League Division 1 and reigning Rosenheim League Champions, offering coaching and competition across all disciplines, ages, and ability levels.

Cross Country

From October to March, cross country brings the club together through the winter. Our athletes compete in county, regional, and national fixtures, with women in Division 1 and men in Division 2 — building resilience, team spirit, and strength across all ages.

Road Running

Our road runners train year-round and compete across a full calendar of races. The club is a regular presence at regional and national road relays, with our men currently the reigning Surrey Road League champions.
